Affiliate disclosure

Last updated October 27, 2026

In short: Tackle Box Picks earns money through affiliate links. If you buy something after clicking a product link on this site, we may receive a commission from the retailer. You pay the same price either way.

What an affiliate link is

An affiliate link is a tracked link to a retailer's product page. When you click one and make a purchase, the retailer knows you came from Tackle Box Picks and may pay us a percentage of the sale. Some retailers pay a commission on other items you buy during the same visit, not only the item you clicked.

Who we work with

We participate, or plan to participate, in affiliate programs run by outdoor and fishing retailers, either directly or through affiliate networks such as AvantLink, CJ, Impact and ShareASale.

Tackle Box Picks may also participate in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.com. As an Amazon Associate, we earn from qualifying purchases.

How this affects our recommendations

It doesn't decide them. Products are placed in kits because they fit the trip, work with the rest of the gear, and offer good value at their price. Commission rates are not part of our selection rules, and brands can't pay to be placed in a kit. If two products are an equally good fit, we may link to the retailer that lets you buy the whole kit in one cart.

Prices and availability

Prices and stock come from retailers and can change at any time. The price and availability shown on the retailer's site when you buy is the one that applies.

Where you'll see this
